Ways to serve during Christmas

Give hope to families at Christmas

Christmas at Buckner is a time of celebration, serving others, and finding hope.  It is our joy to connect your volunteered time, donated toys, or other resources toward a family who could use some encouragement this season.

There are so many ways to serve through Buckner this season.  Whether it’s a foster child experiencing transition, a family working to overcome hardship, or a parent striving to break the cycle of poverty, you can be a source of encouragement in their journey.

How can you help?

  • Volunteer: Want to spend time with us at Christmas? Find all our volunteer opportunities here and keep an eye out for Christmas opportunities to serve.
  • Give financially: Buckner cannot serve children and families without financial support from people like you. You can make a gift to support our Christmas efforts or end-of-year giving here.
  • Christmas gifts: Shop for a family/child or host a drive. Each of our programs offer different ways to serve children and families, whether it’s sponsoring a child’s wish list, giving a gift to a single mom pursuing her college education, or bringing an assortment of toys for our markets. If you would like to give Christmas gifts in support of Buckner families, fill out the form below to help us know who you are and how you'd like to help. Once you complete the form, you will receive more specific information on how to start shopping from the volunteer coordinator in your city.
